Recently, I had to deal with a very stressful situation. It was not something I had planned on and it was very emotionally challenging.
The situation involved something that I cared deeply about, yet I was not able to control the outcome. The outcome was dependent on a number of outside forces. As a result, I began to feel stressed out, frustrated and ungrounded.

Goals vs Intentions
Clients often ask me for guidance on how to reach their goals – to find a relationship, have a child, buy a house, get a certain job, etc..
While it's natural to set personal goals, I've found that setting an intention will often achieve a result that's better than the original goal. The result of setting an intention is often more spiritually aligned.

I recently watched a documentary series on Netflix - "The Surgeon's Cut”. It's not the kind of show I would typically watch, so I was surprised by how moving and inspiring it was.
Each episode follows the story of a doctor and their personal and professional journey. Episode 4 "Heart & Soul" is about Dr. Devi Shetty, a renowned cardiologist in India.
Intuitive problem solving
When you encounter a problem with another person or a difficult situation, it's easy to feel angry, helpless or even run down. It's tempting to want to focus on the problem and use it as an excuse for your own negativity and inaction.
As long as your focus is on someone else, you lose the ability to focus inward and get reconnected to your energy and power.
Acts of kindness
It feels like every day we are presented with new challenges.
If you are particularly impacted by COVID-19, it's difficult to stay grounded and focus on anything positive or productive. It's hard to know what to do amidst all the uncertainty.
If you are better equipped to deal with the crisis, you can still see the stress and hardship that your fellow human beings are going through.
Avoid Avoidance
There may be times when you feel disconnected from your soul and intuition.
How can you tell when you are disconnected? You might feel stuck, ungrounded, angry, guilty, self-destructive, manic, etc.
Heal Yourself with gold light
Recently, I worked with a client who was having trouble becoming pregnant due to some reproductive issues. She was undergoing treatment, however doctors told her that she should not expect much and that she should definitely not get her hopes up about conceiving.
Making Genuine Connections
So much of life involves superficial interactions with people who are distracted and ungrounded.
That’s why it stands out when you make a genuine connection with someone - it’s uplifting and energizing.
