New Year, New Beginning

I always love the beginning of the year! For me, it's a wonderful opportunity to hit the reset button and start fresh.

It's the perfect time to look at the upcoming year and set your intentions. Think about all the areas in your life that you would like to continue to go deeper into.

I tend to focus on personal growth, career, relationships, spirituality, health, finances and community.

For example, focusing on personal growth might entail working on your emotional state so that you can be more grounded.

Being open in your career space might mean that you find new ways to put yourself out there by getting a new job, taking a class or by starting that business you always dreamed of.

Going deeper in your relationship might be to work on the state of your current relationship so that you can discover new ways to communicate and be open.

To feel more connected spiritually you might begin a meditation practice so that you can be more calm and centered.

Improving your finances might be to make a budget so you can save money.

The desire to be help in your community might be to volunteer at your local pet shelter.

It helps to write intentions down. This way they become concrete and anchored in reality, especially once the initial thrill has worn off and you encounter your first obstacle.

As you look at 2019, part of your journey might be to change certain beliefs about yourself. You might have a belief that you are too busy to meditate every day or that you are too old to learn a new job.

Get creative, especially when it comes to money. I can't tell you how often I hear “I can't do this because I don't have the money.” It's amazing how opportunities open up once you commit to your endeavor.

Whatever this year has in store for you, embrace any opportunity to be authentic, honest and real.

Being Authentic

Being authentic means putting yourself out into the world and allowing other people to see you exactly as you are.

When you're authentic, you embrace all the unique things that make you who you are. You don't hide behind perfect pictures and you are not afraid to speak your mind or take chances and do the "wrong" thing.

On my journey, looking within has given me the clarity to present more of my authentic self and my deep love and connection to animals.

I always let clients know about my love of animals and I routinely incorporate this love into my practice (Yes, animals share universal energy just like we do). I offer pet communication readings and assist clients with pet behavorial issues.

My love for animals organically evolved into volunteering with local rescue organizations. I do everything from finding homes for specific pets, to raising money and spreading the word about animals in need.

I am so passionate about animals that the thought of hurting one is unconscionable to me. For the past 6 years I have been a vegan and I am committed to reducing cruelty of any kind in the world.

While I was always passionate and dedicated to the cause of animal welfare, initially I was uncomfortable about putting my beliefs out there. I didn't want people to judge me or think I was over-the-top.

Over time, I found my voice and I no longer worry about how I'm perceived. Caring for animals is a huge part of who I am and it is inseparable from Tiffany the intuitive reader. Also, by sharing my experiences I am able to encourage people to adopt or foster pets, try veganism or get involved in protecting animals.

Being your true self will energize you and lead you down a more fulfilling path. There will still be challenges, however you will attract the people and resources you need to navigate the road ahead.
