Several years ago, I wanted to brighten up my dining room. After looking at different colors, I decided to paint it pumpkin orange. When the room was finished, I instantly began to feel the effects of this color and would feel energized and joyful whenever I entered the room.
Each of us experiences the effects of color. At times we may do this subconsciously. Every morning as we dress, we are drawn instinctively to a particular outfit because of the color.
Have you ever noticed that when you are going through a big life change or transition you begin to wear more purple? That’s because purple increases your spiritual connection and puts you in touch with your own wisdom and intuition.
Each color has its own unique vibration depending on its wavelength, and will affect you differently mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
While there are psychological archetypes associated with colors, two people may experience the same color very differently. By learning how each color influences you, you can effectively use this to adjust your mood, reduce stress, relax and tap into certain healing energies.
